Grandson of John Quincy Adams, a social author who wrote about his pessimism towards America's future. He predicted the two-superpower situation, foresaw the degredation of all civilization through well-established laws of nature. That is what he would like us to think, but though his work is meticulously researched, not all scholars felt that he proved his case sufficiently.
